Here are some of the pictures I took on my walk to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , which is a unique “urban country neighbourhood”, as evidenced by the prevalence of stables and thus horses.
Of course there are horseless carriages as well, such as this extremely fitting Land Rover Range Rover:
Still, I would be remiss without a few pictures of horsies! All were inquisitive and would come over to see what I was up to while I was at the road side with camera in hand.

I grew up in a similar equestrian community in Southern California. Our bit of infamy was that the buttons at the crosswalks for the ‘walk’ signal were set a bit higher so that those on horseback could reach them...

Here they have no sidewalks, instead the paved road transitions to dirt / sand / gravel. So, honestly, was not too friendly for travelling on foot :-P
Also, no traffic lights. 4-way-stops for all intersections.
Finally, signage for no texting-while-riding. Should have taken a pic of that....
